Edward & Weston streets
411 apartments & townhouses
3 retail and office spaces and 1 rooftop child care centre
Completed in July 2014
The Tip Top redevelopment is a unique mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and luxury townhouses across six beautifully crafted buildings.
Little Projects worked closely with project architects RotheLowman to deliver a development that pays homage to the site’s previous use by Northern Bakeries and later Tip Top Bakeries (Brunswick). This involved the integration of several historic buildings on Edward and Weston streets.
Each of the six buildings takes its name from bread inspired by the sites bakery heritage – Stables, Seeds, Silo, Rye, Malt and Grain.
RotheLowman sought inspiration from the original Dutch Modernist architecture throughout the development. With only the highest quality finishes and fixtures throughout, this clever redevelopment surpasses any other project in the area.
