Paul Little AO Chairman

Paul Little is Chairman and Founder of the Little Group.

Formed in 2006, the Little Group focused initially on opportunities in the property sector through Little Projects and Little Real Estate. The Group has since expanded investments across a range of enterprises including aviation and lifestyle.

From 1986 to 2011, Paul was the Managing Director of Toll Holdings and oversaw the Toll Group’s rise to become Asia’s pre-eminent provider of logistics services.

Paul has received a Doctor of Business honoris causa from RMIT University.

In 2010 he was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for service to the development of the transport and logistics industries, and for service to the community through philanthropic support of sporting and medical research organisations.

Paul is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He is Chairman of Visit Victoria, a Director of Property Exchange Australia (PEXA), a Director of the University of Melbourne’s Accelerator Program and a former Chairman of the Essendon Football Club.

In November 2015 Paul and his wife Jane Hansen launched The Little Foundation, a large-scale, active philanthropic undertaking with the singular objective of leaving a legacy of significant and positive change.

The Foundation’s first major initiative is the establishment of The Hansen Trust, supporting arts and humanities at the University of Melbourne.

Ian has worked with numerous and varied businesses advising on financing, taxation, business acquisitions, management and operations.

Paris Lechte is responsible for the construction of every Little Project.

With a penchant for design, project management, innovation and quality, Paris invests his 20 years of experience in the property development, building and construction industries into delivering a significant pipeline of new developments at Little Projects.

Paris is focused on the whole Design and Construction process – from concept design of exciting and cutting edge developments to the management of construction through to completion.

Paris brings a true depth of experience to his role; from multi-million dollar residential and commercial towers to the roll out of entire precinct infrastructure including parkland, roads, promenade, retail spaces and lifestyle zones. He has been involved in both low and high-density housing as well as low-rise and high-rise commercial developments.

A keen fly-fisherman, golfer and Hawthorn Football Club member, Paris balances his working life with keeping fit and spending time with his family.

With a diverse background across the property industry, Leighton is a lateral thinker. Combining academia with sound industry experience in Architecture and Property Development, Leighton focuses on the underlying fundamentals of a development project with a keen interest in a property’s schematic design and feasibility analysis.

Leighton’s architectural knowledge and eye for detail adds depth to his capacity to understand the design of a project when converting it from a feasibility to a built product.
Leighton knows his way around a feasibility like no other and is able to take these numbers and translate them into innovative built form.

With a rare blend of commercial and design acumen, Leighton gives Little Projects a depth of understanding of a properties viability in a market where many projects are struggling to get off the ground.

Leighton has a commitment to pushing the envelope and finding unique opportunities for new projects, particularly within the acquisition phase.

Peter brings over 40 years of industry experience to his senior role at Little Projects.

As a senior executive of Central Equity Ltd. for almost 20 years, Peter was a pioneer in selling ‘off the plan’ apartment developments in Melbourne. Peter was a Director of the property management company with a property portfolio of over 3,500 apartments under management and 8,000 owners corporation members.

Before joining Little Projects, Peter was a senior development manager for MAB Corporation involved with the development of New Quay at Docklands and responsible for the Harbour One apartment project.

Peter has been involved with all areas of apartment development and ongoing management and brings unique experience to his valued role with Little Projects with a keen focus on developing sustainable apartment developments.

He is also a registered valuer, holds a Real Estate Agents licence and is a vocal Collingwood supporter.

Kellie is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business. She brings 17 years’ experience to her role as financial controller at Little Projects.

She commenced her career in public practice providing high level advice on accounting, taxation, and business services.  Kellie specialised in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and investment before transitioning into the corporate sector.

Joining Little Projects in 2012, Kellie’s key responsibilities include working with the finance team managing the core day-to-day financial operations of the business.

She enjoys spending time with her family, catching up with friends, baking and is an avid crows supporter.

With over a decade of experience in real estate with six of those years in project marketing, Luke Rowatt has worked in-house with some of Australia’s most highly regarded developers as well as internationally renowned global conglomerates.

As sales manager at Little Projects Luke is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the business.

Luke’s understanding of market trends and functional design equips him with the ability to provide strategic sales and marketing solutions, mitigating unnecessary risks and actively exploring methods to deliver efficiencies.

Luke’s key focus is on project sales strategy, working closely with Joint Venture partners, sales agents and the broader development team to ensure a positive outcome for all stakeholders.

David brings over 15 years of experience across the construction and property development industry to his role as Senior Project Manager.

Since commencing work at Little Projects in 2007, David has overseen the successful completion of a range of projects including Bunnings in Hawthorn, Local apartments in Stawell Street Richmond, and Halo apartments in St Kilda.

David is involved with key Little Projects’ developments from inception to completion and successfully managed the delivery of  Central South Yarra.

Jessica Dakis Project Manager

Jessica has more than 10 years’ experience in the property and construction industry with a key role at Little Projects as project manager. She manages every aspect of the building process from start to finish, including initial design planning and documentation, through to budget and project handover.

Previously, she has worked for both a contractor and a project management consultancy on a range of different commercial, residential and retail projects. Her role at Sweett Group exposed her to projects with a high level of finish, while her position as project engineer at Monaco Hickey and Probuild provided her with a holistic approach across all aspects of management.

The roles have given her a unique edge and a two-pronged understanding of the requirements of both contractor and client, which she brings together in her role at Little Projects. Jessica has a double degree in Planning and Design, as well as Property and Construction (Hons), with a strong eye for detail and ability to create a superior finish.

As a Mount Buller devotee, she loves winter, and has been lucky to ski various mountains around the world when time has permitted. When she’s not hitting the slopes, she’s hot on the trend trail following her favourite interior design blogs.
