Open House at Central South Yarra

Living Blog

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July 2015, 103 homes and buildings across the city of Melbourne opened their doors as part of Open House Melbourne. Over the course of this annual event, visitors have the rare opportunity to step inside some of the city’s finest architecture – heritage, significant, cultural and new.

To celebrate new development in Melbourne, we made the bold decision to open the doors to our newest lifestyle development for private tours of Central South Yarra – even before construction has been completed to all stages.

Small groups were taken on a guided tour through the luxurious welcome lobby, into a showcase two-bedroom apartment and up to the private resident’s Rooftop Retreat, high on level 30 with undoubtedly South Yarra’s best view of Melbourne’s CBD and 360 degree vistas spanning all the way to Port Phillip Bay to the Dandenong Ranges.

We are passionate about delivering superior quality lifestyle developments that genuinely enhance the lifestyles of the people that live within. We often get asked for access to see inside the buildings we create and Open House Melbourne provided the perfect vehicle for us to share our latest landmark residential project with design savvy, property minded Melbournians.

With the event held at the end of July in the midst of winter, we partnered with Tommy Collins to provide free coffee to those brave enough to wait outside in the cold. The Tommy Collins crew are currently in the process of creating their very first wine bar Sth. Central at Central South Yarra, set to open later this year.

Welcome Lobby

Each tour commenced in our sophisticated welcome lobby designed by Plus Architecture, complete with private mail area concealed behind a tactile leather joinery wall, complemented by custom-designed leather-finished timber bench seats, warm tiling and art sculpture.

Once inside, visitors were guided through the story of Central South Yarra.

Thank you to everyone who visited Central South Yarra for the event. We were thrilled to see so many brave the cold for a tour of our development and look forward to continuing to be part of Open House Melbourne in years to come.
