WE CELEBRATEDLIVE A LITTLE AT TIP TOP BRUNSWICK EASTView content
On Saturday 13 December 2014, Little Projects celebrated the completion of the award-winning Tip Top Brunswick East redevelopment with a community street festival aptly titled ‘Live a Little’.
With coffee from Pope Joan (soon to open Jack Horner within the development), toasted sandwiches by Melt Shop, pasta making, yoga, architectural tours, bands, buskers and much more, ‘Live a Little’ proved that there is a lot to love about living in Brunswick East.
The beautiful weather was a perfect backdrop for the event, which also featured bicycle tune-ups, children’s playtime and VIP discounts and deals for residents. Neighbours and residents enjoyed the sunshine, taking advantage of the many pop-up zones around the development. Bread making classes were held under the stunning Rye facade to commemorate the site’s iconic history.
WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT CREATING GREAT COMMUNITIES
Little Projects’ Live a Little Festival at Tip Top Brunswick East was created for residents to celebrate the completion of this award-winning redevelopment and create a true sense of community.
Tip Top Brunswick East is an award-winning redevelopment of the historic Tip Top Bakery site in Weston and Edward streets, completed in July 2014. The redevelopment takes in six boutique and individually crafted buildings across an expansive 1.2 hectares.
Little Projects created a special event with a host of food and activities to provide an opportunity for residents to meet each other. Where possible, local retailers from Brunswick East were invited to share their knowledge and participate in the day.
A special thank you to: Pope Joan, Bar Idda, Little Seeds Early Learning Centre, Lygon Cycles, The Melt Shop, Gumbo Kitchen, Café Italia, Yoggurdiction, Temple Brewery, Market Juice and Birney & Co.
