Tip Top, Brunswick East

Little Projects partnered with Rothelowman architects to reimagine the Tip Top site, renowned as the former headquarters of Northern Bakeries and later Tip Top Bakeries, into a distinctive blend of one and two-bedroom apartments and luxurious townhouses. Spread across six intricately designed buildings, this redevelopment seamlessly integrates with historic structures on Edward and Weston streets. Each building, named after bread varieties inspired by the bakery heritage – Stables, Seeds, Silo, Rye, Malt, and Grain – pays homage to the site’s rich history. Drawing inspiration from original Dutch Modernist architecture, the project surpasses the ordinary with its commitment to high-quality finishes, sophisticated design, and meticulous attention to detail, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the area.
