Auckland’s saving Grace – How one project is restoring faith in the local market

Grace Victoria Quarter, the 10-level apartment building located on the gateway site cornering Sale and Cook streets, will complete its final layer this week. The topping out is a milestone for both the project and the community, with its success helping to rebuild confidence in the local market. It won’t be long until residents can experience this for themselves with Grace’s completion on track for mid-2019. “With settlement approaching and only seven apartments still available, Grace has proven just how insatiable the local appetite is for high-quality residential design and development,” said Reside Managing Director, Mark Weipers. “This project is the instigator of change Auckland needed – since its launch in late 2015 we have seen buyer perceptions shift, with sentiment for the multi-residential market improving as people come to realise all that apartment living can be,” said Weipers.
